We do not use your information for ongoing marketing, and we do not sell personal information. We also do not disclose personal information to third parties for their marketing.
6) When we disclose information
We only disclose personal information as needed to deliver our services or meet legal obligations, for example to:

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure—for example by using access controls, secure devices, protected storage, and staff/contractor confidentiality practices (APP 11). OAIC

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax, insurance, and warranty requirements. When it’s no longer required, we securely delete or de-identify it where practicable.
9) Cookies & analytics
Our website may use essential cookies (to make the site work) and basic analytics to understand page performance and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We don’t profile individuals for marketing.
10) Access, correction & contact
You can request access to, or correction of, your personal information. We’ll respond within a reasonable time (usually within 30 days) and may ask to verify your identity.

11) If something goes wrong (data breaches)
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will assess the incident and, where required, notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) under the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme. OAIC

If you’re concerned about how we’ve handled your personal information, please contact us first. We’ll investigate and aim to resolve your complaint within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the OAIC (online form, or 1300 363 992). OAIC
13) Children and minors
Our services are directed to adults arranging building work. If you’re under 16, please only provide personal information with a parent/guardian’s involvement. Parents/guardians can contact us to request deletion of a minor’s details where appropriate.
14) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in law, guidance, or our practices. The latest version will be published on our website, with the effective date noted above.
